P74 migrate to P86

Anyone can guide what is the proper step to migrate the inveter P74 to P86 with communication powerlink

Hello

It depends on how the P74 was controlled. If it was controlled via Direct Control, you don’t need to change much in the project. If it’s controlled via SDC, then you’ll have a bit more work ahead of you. The P86 doesn’t support SDC. You’ll then have to switch your application to MappMotion or Direct Control.

8I84T400075.01P-1 convert to 8I76T400075.0P-000
P84 is use SDC for the control is conversion to P76 is this will be a very complicated process ?

Hello,

the P76 only supports Direct Control or MappMotion. SDC is not supported by the P76. I suggest you switch your project to MappMotion. However, you should expect to spend a few hours on it.
