Remote BIOS Update on APC-3100

Hi,

is there any option to update the BIOS of an APC-3100 via a remote connection? The help file says that you have to enter the UEFI BIOS and start the update from the shell. This requires a local access to the PC which is not wanted.

Any idea is welcome!

Welcome to the Community!

The Help is correct; I’m not aware of any way to update a BIOS remotely (unless by that you mean walking someone else through the procedure while you are not at the PC :wink:). While you are interfacing with the BIOS, the main operating system is not running and there is no way to establish a remote connection.

BIOS updates do not need to happen very often unless you have older hardware or a newer update has features you need.
