Cannot connect to APC3100 through automation Studio

Hello im writing here today as a beginner, currently I am building a test rig to test some software for the APC 3100. Right now I am trying to go online with the APC and upload my program, but I cannot find the APC when in online settings. It is currently connected to ETH 1 and the orange led is blinking, and the green led is solid. It is connected through a unmanaged switch, to my pc.

I don’t know how to check what the IP is either so I cannot ping it, and I cannot find it as a device using a dhcp scanner or an IP scanner.

I am using automation studio 4.12.6. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

In this case “you don’t know the IP-Adress and you cant see it via SNMP Online-Search” the best option is to make an Offline Installation. You will need a CFast-Card Reader.

Is there a way to perform the initial install using a usb stick, or must it be performed through the c fast card.

I am only familiar with the common Scenarios. There are around 18 Descriped in the AS-Help.

But i think there is a possibility with a USB-Stick and no Boot-AR.
