SafeDESIGNER 6.4.1.0: I can't open Variable status because of internal check said "Projects are different"

Hi Community,
This time when I try to open the variable status inside SafeDESIGNER I get this error message:

Let’s commission again the safety application and check please if you see some mistakes in my sequence.

1. I compile the prj no error:
   
   
2. I open the buildin mappView visualization for commissioning the safety application, and I sign in:

3) I connect to the my SafePLC, and open details tab:

4. Transfer the SafeApplication and SafeCommissioning file, first enable setup mode then browse for transfer data:

5. I format SafeKEY to be sure nothing is installed on my SafePLC:

6. I press transfer to SafeDOMAIN button:

7. Transfer done:

8. Press completion button

10. Ack all 3 steps in the sequence:

11. Finish setup mode:

12. Sign out:

13. Open variable status → Error

My question: Is this an expected error?
I have limited data for the communication SafePLC → PLC and PLC → SafePLC so it will be nice if I can check the status of the I/O of my FUBs for example without mapping each signal.

Hello Valerio,

After you rebuild the project in SafeDESIGNER, the step you are missing is to build and transfer the project via Automation Studio. The mapp Safety HMI does not have access to the SafeDESIGNER project on your PC, so you need to transfer that project to the gray PLC so it can be loaded with the mapp Safety HMI. You can track the project CRC through your screenshots and see that you are recommisssioning CRC ‘CD230DA1’ through the mapp Safety HMI, while the SafeDESIGNER project has CRC ‘22A1A7C9.’

Below is a rough diagram of the difference between a SafeDESIGNER download and a mapp Safety HMI transfer.
