SafeDesigner+ crashes when opening

Hello, I try to switch from MappSafety to Safety+. When I now launch SafeDesigner+ it crashes after signing in with the message in the picture:

What I’ve tried:

  • clear cache
  • delete X20SLX410 module and reinsert it
  • reinstall newest version of X20SLX410
  • updated all safety modules

What could be the cause of that problem?

Hi Simon, and welcome to the Community!

The problem I think is that the X20SLX410 is not compatible with Safety+. You would need an X20SLXxxx-1 module to use Safety+. You can find more information about differences between mappSafety and Safety+ here: Differences from mapp Safety

Hmm then AI lied about the compatibility :laughing:

When I replace the hardware with X20SLX811-1 it does not crash anymore when I open SafeDesigner+.
