Hello everyone,
I’ve been trying to switch my MappView visualization to HTTPS communication using this guide.
I’m using AS6.3.32 with MappView version 6.4.1.
I initially tried setting up HTTPS communication without generating a certificate. Apparently, AS generated a certificate in the background, which is now showing up as an error when I access the page.
The certificate displayed here has the following content:
How do I remove the certificate link and force the MappView server to use the certificate I created?
Georg
Hello and welcome to the Community,
I believe SSL configuration in mapp View Configuration is empty in your case.
You have to create a certificate and SSL configuration as described in this How to. Check the help for the reference.
Thanks a lot, the problem with the browser is gone.
But i can’t open the Visualisation on the 6PPT50.0702-16A.
I installed the created MyCert.cer certificate on the Panel, and set the Web-Adress to 10.0.0.42:443. The Panel hangs at the Boot Logo.
The Date and Time of the Panel is the same as in the CPU.
If i switch to HTTP in the MappViewConfiguration to HTTP and switch the port in the panel to :81 it works.
Are there any specials in the HTTPS comunication betwen the MapViewServer and the MappViewClinet 6PP50?
I found in the help this Article: B&R Online Help but i dont understud if this is also necesary for my T50 Panel. I think the configuration of the PP can’t more complicated then the configuration of a PC-Browser to accept the certificate.
I think this is only a smal thing, but i dont found it until now.
Best regards
Georg
Hello,
I’d say you need to specify the IP address with the protocol as well, so https://10.0.0.42:443.
Which image version is installed on the panel?
