I have a power panel 35 (4PP035.0300-01) running in a machine. This device is showing some problems on the text exibition. So I can send this to repare I would have to install another one during the repairing period.
My doubt is how can I substitute this power panel to a brand new one if there is no CF card?
Usually when I need to change a B&R PLC I can change the compact flash and the software will be moved together. But In this case I don’t see any memory card that I could move from one part to another.
Like @kovarj said you would need the original project. A PP035 is no so called “SG4” target (system generation 4) and uses no computer readable flash memory
This device is “SG3” and uses a build in EEPROM memory (which is not even a PC readable file system)
It is possible to upload the contents of this PP035 but all uploaded content is compiled content in binary format without the possibility to modify anything.
I will attach the document how this is done but please note that this is not self explanatory and you need (basic) knowledge of the original project. HowToBackupSG3Targets_eng_AT.pdf (1,0 MB)
So I strongly suggest that you get in touch with the original programmer/company and ask for the original project
Furthermore brand new PP035 might not even be available as B&R canceled production of this unit
