We are facing an issue of Time difference between mappView Client & mappView Server. The time deviation is about 1873s.
Answer from support:
this issue is known for every time zone with x:30h and can be worked around by enabling daylightsaving. With 1.8.1 this issue will be fixed.
FYI, I’ve experienced better overall robustness when using “Retrieve initial time from webserver” (supported from version 1.8.0 and onwards).
NTP feels more difficult to predict, and even with “Wait for initial sync” enabled, I’ve seen cases where the panel gets stuck and never completes the boot process. A timeout has been added in the newest image, which is a good improvement.
