Touch response delay with VNC Connection Between 6PPT30.101G-20B and X20CP1584

Hello,
I have connected the 6PPT30.101G-20B with X20CP1584 via VNC. However, after touching the screen, there is about a 1-second delay before the touch is registered. I believe the communication speed between the two devices is slow.
How can I optimize the touch response speed?

Hi,

first, I think we need to know a bit more details to understand if and how the reaction time could be improved:

  • does it happen on every different touch action, independent of the action itself (e.g. touch a button, enter a value, change a page,…)? Or does it only happen on some touch actions like changing pages?
  • is the behavior independent of the client? So same reaction time if using 6PPT or using a VNC client on your development notebook?
  • what refresh rate is set in the VNC server configuration (see here)? If it’s set to default = 1000ms, reduce the value to 250ms for example and check if the behavior changes.
