Update mappServices and mappView from 5.13.1 to 5.24.x

Hi,

I have an AS 4.11 project with a PC2100 CPU and mappServices and mappView 5.13.1. I would now like to update mapp to 5.24.x (the latest version). I have installed the two mapp packages with the AS Updater and can now switch to 5.24.x in the project properties. The project also compiles without any problems.

Since I don’t know whether mappServices or mappView 5.24.x bring new functions or require changes to the code, here is the question: do I have to adapt anything in my code for the new mapp versions?

I am grateful for any support.

Hi Walter

updating within the family of mapp 5 shouldn’t cause any issues but you can check the version history.

Now if would to upgrade from mapp 5 to mapp 6 you are going to have to make some code changes and modifications because of incompatible software.
