Hello,
there has been a change in the client login process in AS6 and mapp View 6 — it now uses OPC UA as the backend instead of RBAC or MpUserX. As a result, the login time has increased significantly when using the X20CP0484-1 or C50. I’m experiencing login times of about 8 to 10 seconds, with CPU usage around 60%.
Is there any workaround to cope this poor performance? In its current state, it’s practically unusable.
Hi Christian,
yes, it is enabled. The visualization is running smoothly, and the login works as well, but it takes far too long. According to issue QCAS-1514, it is expected to take longer, but 8 seconds — regardless of whether the CPU usage is 50% or 80% — is unacceptable.

Michal Malek
If I’m not mistaken, there was some optimization implemented. But you are already using MV version with this optimization. 8s is really a long time, I think you have to return back to local support, provide them project and ask for test and explanation. I would also check that latest AR and C50 image is used
