X67DM1321.L12 input adresse is not coming

Hey

We are using a B&R fieldbus controller X67BCE321.L12 with several X67DM1321.L12 I/O modules connected.

Most of the modules are working as expected. However, on some modules, the input signals are not registering in the normal input bytes (byte 1 and byte 2). Instead, the signals are only visible in the latched input bytes (byte 2 and byte 3).

This raises the question:

  • Is there a specific configuration required on the module to select between latched inputs and non-latched inputs?

  • Or is it possible that latch mode is inadvertently enabled on these modules?

My screenshot is from Automation Studio.

Could you please check which revision the modules have? Do they all have the same revision?

  • How did you find that module X67BCE321.L12 i can only choose Ethernet IP controller or find X20 and X90 ? I should be X67 or Profinet

He tried a old module and a new module nothing changed i can try to ask him later

Hi Mads,

to use the X67 Profinet coupler in AS, you must import the GSDML file using the 3rd Party Manager.

You can only toggle whether a channel functions as an input or an output. The various function models merely distinguish between a counter and an I/O module. The inputs should always be mapped to the input image.
