Good day all,

I am currently working on a project for a client and wanted to confirm something. We are using a 4PPC50.0702-13B and connecting it to a X20BR9300 fir IO.

I wanted to confirm the following :

  1. The protocol that would be used is the X2X link ?
  2. Do we require a proprietary connector for the X2X link interface, because from the manual i can see that the HMI would connect via port 10 to the IO? (image shown below)

Hello,

Yes, the Interface marked with “10” is the Connection for the X2X-Link which the X20BR9300 can be connected to.

I had a look into the list of Parts which will be shipped with the Device. It looks like the Connector is part of the shippment. If it got lost you can find there the Ordercode for the Connector.
4PPC50.0702-13B - Shipping Parts

For the Bus-Reciever you have to consider that the Module consists of 3 Ordercodes.
