When sizing a motor for an ACOPOSinverter P77 application there is following to keep in mind when considering the minimum possible
power size of the motor in relation to the drive.
There is no hard limit for how small a motor can be when used on the P77. Many factors like the motor control type and motor characteristics are relevant.
The generic applied rule is that the minimum motor current must be at least 1/6 (~16,67 %) of the max. output current of the inverter.
For example, when using a 1,1 kW inverter with max. output current of 6,4 A, then the minimum motor current should be ~1,06 A.
This means that the minimum motor power should be at least 1/3 (~33,33 %) of the inverter power.
For the 1,1 kW inverter that would be ~0,37 kW on the motor.
For edge cases this must be checked in detail or tested eventually.
