Calculation of ACOPOS P3 for ACOPOSremote

Hello,

I am planning to connect 8x 400W motors and 2x 750W (with brake) motors using ACOPOSremote. I am considering using an ACOPOS P3 as the main power supply. However, I would like to ask how to determine the required size of the ACOPOS P3.

According to the manual, in the case of ACOPOSmotor, it seems that the total power of the motors is used to calculate the required capacity. However, for ACOPOSremote, this is not clearly explained, so I would like to ask for clarification.

In a system configured as shown in the diagram (ACOPOS P3 + ACOPOSremote + Motors),

  1. Is it necessary to consider the capacity of the ACOPOS P3?

1-1. In the example 5.1.5.2.1 “Calculation” of the manual, the total power consumption is 7.5kW, but the example uses the model 8EI2X2HWT10.xxx-1, which seems to be a 3kW model. Could you please explain this discrepancy?

  1. In the manual, it calculated the total power consumption of the ACOPOSremote as 1.5kW of continuous power. In this case, if the actual motor capacity is lower than this(400W or 750W), is it correct to base the calculation on the actual motor capacity instead?

The manual I referred to is “Decentralized Motion Control User’s Manual V1.30.”

Thank you in advance.
