I am currently commissioning an ACOPOSmulti system and I am having an issue with the power supply axis.
The power supply module is an 8BVP1650HW00.000-1, configured in Automation Studio as gAxisPwr (SL2.IF1.ST2.AXIS1).
In System Diagnostics Manager, the following errors are repeatedly generated:
- 9012 – Temperature sensor (Motor|Choke|External): Not connected or destroyed
- 4005 – Controller cannot be switched on: Drive in error state
- 29203 – Drive is not ready
The other inverter axes appear to be OK, while only gAxisPwr goes into alarm.
Our power section uses:
- 2 x 8BVF line filters
- 1 x 8BVR regeneration choke
- 1 x 8BVP1650 power supply module
Because error 9012 refers to the motor/choke/external temperature sensor, I suspect that the problem may be related to the temperature sensor circuit of the two line filters and the regeneration choke rather than to the servo motors.
I found information in the ACOPOSmulti documentation/community indicating that the factory temperature-sensor parameters of the 8BVP1650 are intended for a configuration with one 8BVF and one 8BVR, and that a configuration with two 8BVF line filters connected in parallel and one 8BVR regeneration choke requires different temperature sensor parameters.
For a configuration with 2 x 8BVF and 1 x 8BVR, I found the following values:
- ParID 64
MOTOR_TEMPSENS_PAR1= 4500 - ParID 65
MOTOR_TEMPSENS_PAR2= 1800 - ParID 66
MOTOR_TEMPSENS_PAR3= 155
I also understand that the temperature sensors of the 8BVF filters and 8BVR choke must be connected in series to the temperature sensor input of the 8BVP1650.
Could you please confirm the following?
- Are the above ParID 64, 65 and 66 values correct for a system with 2 x 8BVF + 1 x 8BVR + 1 x 8BVP1650?
- Should these parameters be assigned to the 8BVP1650 using a Parameter Table / Axis Channel Feature in Automation Studio?
- What should be the correct wiring sequence for the T+ / T− temperature sensor circuit between the two line filters, the regeneration choke and the X4A connector of the 8BVP1650?
- Is there a recommended resistance value that we should measure at X4A T+/T− with a multimeter to verify the complete temperature sensor circuit?
- Is error 9012 expected if the ParID values do not correspond to the number of connected line filters/chokes, even if the physical wiring is correct?
- Can errors 4005 and 29203 be considered secondary errors caused by the initial 9012 fault?
I have attached screenshots from System Diagnostics Manager showing the error history and the affected gAxisPwr.
Any recommendation regarding additional ParIDs or diagnostic values to monitor would also be appreciated.
