Error when opening project with AS software: This error occurs when double-clicking the project, preventing direct access. The project can only be opened by launching the software first and navigating to File → Open Project.
Why is that?

could it be that you have more version of AS installed and with double clicking the project file, not proper version (corrupted version) of AS is opening?
