Hello,
I’m using a custom AP1000 with SDL4 card, linked to an APC2200 and displaying VC4
and every once in a while the screen goes black and the Status LEDs behave in the following manner:
Link LED - ON
Status LED - Blinking
In the user manual I can find that this means that SDL4 connection is OK but firmware image is corrupt.
However I have no idea what this means or how to correct it. Any suggestions ?
If I apply a new HW update in the AS Physical view,
would this end up on the panel via the SDL4 connection ?

Hi @alin.oltean , general procedure how to investigate/solve issue with SDL connection is:
check that SDL fw is up to date
cable, the best is to use original one from B&R
this connection is in general very stable.

Hi,
We are using original B&R cables.
Regarding SDL firmware you mean the HW version on the if card in the APC?

I would check download section for your type of APC as well as for panel.
just example how to search:
SDL4 transmitter
SDL4 receiver for AP1120
if fw is up to date, cable is original..and there is no problem with connection and any other visible problem, you will need to get in contact with local B&R support.
