Hello,

I have some questions regarding the GateManager.

We are currently managing a large number of SiteManager devices on our GateManager and would like to automate the creation and organization of directories based on a specific strcuture.

To achieve this, we are exploring the possibility of using an external script or program to automate the directory creation process. Could you please provide me with the following details to determinate if this is feasible ?

API Availability: Does the GateManager platform offer an API that allows us to interact programmatically with the system for tasks such as directory creation, device managament, and structuring ?
Authentification and Access: What authentication methods (API keys, OAuth, etc.) are available for securely accessing the API?
API Documentation: Could you share any documentation, endpoint details, or sample code to help us get started with interacting with the API for automating directory creation and other relevant operations?

The Secure Remote Maintenance solution is a brand labeled product that is developed by Secomea. They may have more information on if API access is possible when using B&R devices.

Alternatively, if you have access to Automation Studio, you can specify “Domain tokens” and “Appliance Names” that will be applied when future devices are first powered on: B&R Online Help (br-automation.com). The settings can then be further modified at runtime with the ArSrm library and a factory reset of the SiteManager.
