Hello, I am testing APROL. I have installed APROL (B_APROL) and want to add a Modbus driver, but I am having difficulty finding relevant information.
Currently, another PC with APROL (A_APROL) already has the Modbus driver installed. Is there a way to transfer the Modbus driver from A_APROL to B_APROL?
I imported the settings from A_APROL into B_APROL via CaeManager/Extras/Connection Type Editor, and I was able to add the connection in the Runtime → Project Connections section. However, the driver itself was not added.
How can I properly transfer and install the Modbus driver on B_APROL?
Hello @sangmin_yoon,
What Modbus do you mean? ModbusTCPclientDriver?
For what version of aprol do you need it?
If you habe screenshot from A_Aprol, we can easly indetify what you are looking for.
Currently, I am in a state of having finished work, so I apologize for not being able to upload the photo.
Yes, as seen in the image, the ModbusTcpClientDriver is required in the Driver section. Additionally, if a ModbusServer also exists, it would be very helpful.
Currently, A_APROL has the ModbusTcpClientDriver, but I haven’t found a way to transfer it to B_APROL.
We are providing this driver on request. So if you ask your local office, they should provide it to you.
Or if you message me your email, I will sent it to you.
Hi @sangmin_yoon, I accepted Tomas’s answer that you need to contact the local office as a solution. Feel free to change it or update us if you solved it differently. Thanks.
Reason for not finding the modbus driver in the official Aprol documentation is that it is not an official part of Aprol but an application solution as far as i know.
Of course there is a documentation available which can be provided by your local office.
