Hello everyone,
I’m currently supporting a customer who is facing a persistent issue with the Audit Trail after transferring a project.
Problem Description:
- Issue: The Audit Trail only shows the timestamp and an event ID, while the text content is completely missing.
- Condition: The issue initially appeared after project download, but we later confirmed it can also occur during runtime, without a download.
- Temporary Fix: Performing a Clean Configuration + Rebuild resolves the issue temporarily, but it comes back.
- Special Context: The system uses a custom C# program connected via MSSQL to sync audit data.
- Request:
- Find a permanent solution without requiring Clean Configuration each time.
- Understand why the text is missing in the first place.
System Info:
- mapp version: 1.77
- AR Runtime: SG4_4.53
- gAuditTrail → RecordMemory: Buffered UserROM
- gAuditTrail → Textsource: VC4
Attached References:
Screenshot : Extracted Logger logs around the time of the issue
the relevant Revision History (mapp & AR runtime versions)
ID#400343227 : solved problem, known since 1.77.0, solved since 1.78.0
MpAuditTrail: Memory leak if variables in Variable Monitor change
ID#400276747 : solved problem, known since mapp Services 5.4.2, solved since 1.70.0 MpAudit : Buffered UserROM : The “Record Memory” set as “Buffered UserROM” not working properly in MpAudit
Questions:
Could this issue be related to memory usage, corrupted text system, or some kind of OPC UA logging overload?
Is there any known behavior or regression in this Runtime/mapp version combination?
Has anyone experienced a similar issue or found a workaround?
Any insight would be greatly appreciated
Thanks in advance!
