I have a PC-910 computer with the power LED red and all the other LEDs off. I checked the manual and it says the computer is in hibernation or standby mode. I tried connecting a monitor to access the BIOS, but it won’t let me because it’s in hibernation mode. Has anyone else experienced this? Can you tell me how to exit hibernation or standby mode?
Problem 01: ONLY the POWER LED in RED (stable) = system in standby mode and the PC didn’t running (screen still black) and also the HDD led still OFF.
under “normal conditions”, the red power led signals “power-off/hibernation”, which is for example reached when a GPOS like Windows got a shut down command and the system entered the power-off state.
To wake-up a system from this state, normally you can either press the power button (left of the led), or remove the external 24V for some seconds and power it again (power-on after loss and return of supply voltage depends on a BIOS setting).
If the system does not respond to the power button, then unfortunately most probably the internal power distribution unit is damaged and the APC needs to be repaired.
As far as I remember, one more dependency exists if using a internal UPS - if the UPS battery is discharged, the system maybe won’t allow a power-on as long as the battery isn’t charged again.
But from the picture you posted, it doesn’t looks like that there’s a internal UPS integrated (if so, there should be some additional “thicker” cable nearby the 24V terminal block that leads to a external battery pack).
