I have this panel here from an existing machine: 4PP452.0571-75.
Currently, it’s about preservation, which means I need to test the controller, but unfortunately, that doesn’t work without the machine.
The original project was unfortunately lost over the years with the laptop. For my test setup, I am now looking for an Automation Studio version that still supports this panel. If I understand correctly, this could be version 3.0.90.
Currently, I have downloaded the latest Studio 4.12 and cannot get this panel to integrate - although the controller is still shown as an old device, I cannot create a project because the runtime is not available. I also already tried to convert the project from originally using a different panel to mine, but that didn’t work either.
I am not a customer and currently have no contact with B&R. Do you perhaps have a solution for me.
As I said, at the moment it is solely about preservation - a plan could also be to replace the controller with something newer in order to simply keep the existing modules like amplifiers and nodes / IO modules - but that has not been discussed yet.
