Dear expert,

I am looking for Automation runtime V2.48 for PP41 power panel (4P3040.01-490) to restore program from old machine. I tried to find but cannot get it, it seem very old to download from B&R website. Could you please share it with me?

Please let us know which version of Automation Studio you are using and whether you also have the Automation Studio project.
(Unfortunately, without the project, recovery options are very limited.)

My current AS version is 2.7.0.25 SP18, I do not have Automation Studio project, I would like to backup from current panel and then restore to new panel. In case if you do not have automation runtime version 2.7 V2.48, could you please share the Automation Studion 2.5 for me?

Hi,

even the installation *.exe starts with ‘2.5.2’ it should be valid for AS 2.7 also since it was just taken from AS 2.7 DVD package.

But without the project sources this wouldn’t help much.

Thank you for sending instruction, I will try the runtime with AS2.7 first. In case if you have automation runtime of AS 3.0. for this PP41, can you share it for me?

In case if you have automation runtime of AS 3.0. for this PP41, can you share it for me?

I’m not even sure if this version was ever created for Automation Studio 3.0. I haven’t been able to find an installer for it.

But:

  • If you don’t have any project resources, then you don’t need this specific version. Automation Studio isn’t absolutely necessary.
  • If you want to set up a new AS project, you can also use the newer version of AR that comes with AS 3.0.90.

The best way is to contact the manufacturer of this machine (if they still exist).
