Automation studio 6.5 will not install because of DTM giving installation error

Hello,

I had updated to AS 6.5.2.12 and after that AS kept crashing whenever I tried building, starting the simulation or opened certain menu options. My first though was to reinstall automation studio. I uninstalled it and downloaded 6.5.1.7. Now, Automation studio will not install and I get the below error of the BRDTM not being able to install. In the second pictureI’m trying to install only the DTM and this doesn’t work either. I downloaded the DTM separately from the B&R website as well, which didn’t make a difference. Has anyone else experienced this? or knows what error code 1 here means? Thanks!

Hi,

Thank you! I found the solution in that thread: for me it worked by deleting the B&R DTM among the apps and then reinstalling it separately.
