DTM could not be loaded

I installed Automation Studio 6 to test it, but I’m still using AS 4.12 for my projects.
Since I installed AS6 im always getting the error “The DTM could not be loaded successfully” on every build in AS4.12
It happens on different projects.

Has anybody experienced something similar and knows how to solve it?

Hi @c541797 Benjamin, welcome to the community!

I have both AS 4.12 and AS 6.0 installed and have not experienced this issue myself. However, a good first step for troubleshooting DTM issues is to try updating the DTM catalog. You can do this by going to Tools → Manage 3rd-Party Devices in Automation Studio, then clicking “Update DTM Catalog”.

You could also try re-importing the relevant DTM file(s) to see if that makes a difference.

I am experiencing the same issue. I have five different configurations in a project, all of which contain DTMs.
The same error occurs with three out of five configurations.
I am the only one in the company who has installed AS6 and only I get the error.

What I have already done:

  • Updated BRDTM.exe
  • Update DTM Catalog
  • Reinstall all DTMs
  • Repository newly cloned

Unfortunately without success.

I have performed the same steps as you did Simon.

Sadly the only thing that worked was a complete deinstallation and reinstallation of the automation studio 4.12

I have noticed that for each X67DS438A module used there is a “DTM could not be Loaded” error when building the configuration.
Therefore I tried to reinstall the module hardware, without success :frowning:

Only a complete deinstallation and reinstallation of the automation studio 4.12 has also solved the problem for me.
