B&R APC 910 deffective unit

Hello guys,

we have deffective APC, doesnt boot, has black screen.

We buy new one, but when install CF card, it stuck at boot screen Phase 2, without further starting.

If we install new empty CFcard, then we have Windows XP started.

Can you share instruction how to replace old unit with old card, to new unit with old card?

What APC type you are talking about, is it old APC type same like new APC? What system is on old CF card, only WIndows XP?

Here is label of APC, same is on both, old and new. Unfortunately, old one doesnt boot, so I am not able to check what will boot…

Are you sure that old CFAST is oK?

Yes, it is running on other CPU unit.

When we had this king of problem previous time, we had to buy APC from manufacturer with OS on new card. After that, we buy new APC whitour preparation, because we have 13 machines, and they want to know for which specific machine it will be installed, but now we cannot run without manufacturer, which asks for APC to be returned to their office for something….

This is important information, could it not be that the manufacturer has implemented some protection?

Well, this is solution>

  1. APC910 cannot be swiched with new simply by installing SD card, it needs to be “fixed” at machine manufacturer (I dont know reason).
  2. APC3100 can be swaped just by replacing cards and starting. No additional seting is necessary, even IP….

But with APC910, it looks like a customized solution, so protection from the manufacturer.
