I am trying to install Automation Studio 4.12.4 107SP on a new machine and during the installation I get the message above. I tried uninstalling and installing Automation Studio but it does not work.
Also, a side note, I get a message before I can start that the upgrade service is not started and I have to start it manually from the Windows Task Manager to get it started.
What is this “ISecureProcess” (or “lSecureProcess” service) and how do I get it to check the certificate of an executable file?
Dear Sanil,
To download any upgrades via AS>Tools>Upgrades, it is mandatory that the upgrade services are running on that PC. If it is not running automatically, you can also start it manually from the Task Manager.
To the actual problem of this error pop-up, can you please install the service pack via double-click, instead of installing it via the upgrade dialogue?
Hello Abid, I tried to install the SP by downloading it manually and double clicking it. It says that a higher version of it is already installed.
Talked to @Marcus Mangel and he helped me understand that I cannot downgrade from 4.12.6.x to a 4.12.4 and lower due to some cybersecurity software updates.
I am trying to install 4.12.3 and then upgrading it to 4.12.4. I will update this post if successful.
