Clarification Required on object directory / object parameter not visible

We are using the X20BC0083 bus controller configured over a POWERLINK network with the X20CP0482 CPU. However, we do not see any POWERLINK Object Dictionary entries in Automation Studio 4.12. We would like to configure DS301 communication profiles and need guidance on how to proceed.

Hi @Nishit ,
from our website we can see a note regarding POWERLINK:

POWERLINK has been integrated with the well-known and widely deployed CANopen family of communication and device profiles. CANopen’s DS301 and DS302 communication profiles have been adapted to POWERLINK in a joint technical working group of both the EPSG and the CiA (CAN in Automation) group. Users and vendors of CANopen-enabled devices are now able to easily migrate their applications from the well-established CAN bus to an Ethernet environment which is a hundred times faster. CAN bus and Ethernet networks can be transparently combined wherever needed.

Could you give us more information about “We would like to configure DS301 communication profiles”? Between which devices?

@Nishit can you provide info Valerio asked you for?

Hello Jaroslav

Between X20CP0482 CPU and Bus controller X20BC0083 over powerlink configured using Automation Studio V6.1.1.14

This thread looks similar to another one created by Nishit more recently - ASnd command support for X20BC0083 over POWERLINK.

That thread has some more information about the type of communication needed. I think it makes sense to close this thread and handle the discussion there to avoid duplicating information.
