Configurator tool to create the 5Wxxxx or 5Qxxxx model names for 5PPC2100, 5PPC2200, etc with 5AP9xx, 5AP1xxx panels?

Dear Community,

Does anybody aware of any kind of “Configurator” (wizard) software tools (online or offline) aimed at SI people which would enable one to select various configuration components for the Panel PC system and, ideally, create the “set” model numbers, like 5W3xxxx or 5Q5xxxx.

For example, it would be nice to be able to select the following items/components:

  1. System unit: 5PPC2100 series, 5PPC2200 series, etc
  2. Automation Panel: 5AP923 series, 5AP1120 series, 5AP1130 series, etc
  3. CFast card: 5CFAST series
  4. a) Built-in Interface Options 5ACCIF (for AR-based systems)
    or
    b) GPOS Type and Version (for Windows/Linux-based system)
  5. Accessories: 0TB Terminal blocks, 5ACCBT Batteries, etc.
  6. Licenses: 1TG, 0TG series, as required
  7. Other required items or services

Eventually, it would have been nice for such a tool to generate the proper Device Number / Model Number (5Wxxxx, 5Qxxxx, etc). Then, we could use that generated number for a number of purposes, including placing an order with the local B&R Sales.

If someone knows about any kind of tool that fits the above description, kindly let me know.

Thank you and Best Regards,
Alexander

Hi,

I think such numbers can only be generated in-house as each code is only generated on request.
I think it’s supposed to work like this: you contact your sales rep, you send the list, they create (or let someone create) the number and you get a code back which you can then use to place the order.
I am not aware of any other means to get them.

Sorry if that’s not the reply you expected and perhaps someone else has more information contradicting me.

Michael is right, our sales man has tool for that. This can not be done externally at the moment.
