Coupling IF1061-1 with Siemens ET200iSP

Hello,

we have a Problem with a connection via Profibus DP. On the B&R Side is a IF1061-1 Controller and the client is a Siemens ET200 iSP. We hve a short connection and can see the values (for example the analog values) and then the connection disrupt very quickly and so on. There is no continuously Data Exchange (error 0xC0390006).

Who have an experience with such coupling an now the right way for a stable connection.

We need more information about your hw/sw:

  1. Please attach SystemDump
  2. AS version?
  3. AR version?
  4. Hw revision of X20IF1061-1?
  5. Hw upgrade of X20IF1061-1?

  1. Cable? Could you double check that?
  2. Please add few notes about the topology of all B&R hw
  3. Check the termination resistors on the DB9 plugs. The physical switches on the first and last devices of the PROFIBUS segment must be set to ON, while all intermediate devices must be set to **OFF

we have now a solution for our Problem.

We disable DPV1, the connection is absolute stable :grinning_face:
