Hi Community,
I am trying to establish PROFINET communication between a PROFINET master and a Bus Controller, but I am facing an issue when connecting the modules.
The hardware configuration is as follows:
- X20BB81
- X20IF10E1-1
- X20BC1083
- X20PS9400
- X20 I/O modules
When I connect the POWERLINK cable from the PLC to the Bus Controller, the PROFINET module enters an error state. The red LED blinks along with the green LED. In addition, in the SDM, only the Bus Controller is shown as plugged, while all the other modules are displayed as unplugged.
However, if I disconnect the POWERLINK cable, the PROFINET module returns to the Ready state with a steady green LED.
I have already performed the following checks:
- Verified that there are no IP address conflicts.
- Physically inspected all modules and connections.
- Confirmed that the hardware appears to be in good condition.
Despite these checks, the issue persists.
Has anyone encountered a similar issue or have any suggestions on what could be causing this problem? Any guidance or troubleshooting advice would be greatly appreciated.
