Error compling the safety-libraries -SafetyDesigner 4.4.10

Hi ,

While I open the safety program with SafeDESIGNER 4.4.1.0 and compile I got this error 0"13/3" E#0x31 “Error compiling the Safety-Libraries”.
The program was existing running program before with same version.

Anyone here know what is the issue?

Thanks

Hi @Tzyy_Mei_Tan ,

I didn’t find the description of that error in the Help, so I can’t give you more details, so for the moment I just share with you what normally I do in similar case:

a) Can you try to force a clean cache reset?

  1. Close SafeDESIGNER and Automation Studio.

  2. Open the project root folder via Windows File Explorer.

  3. Manually delete the temporary development cache folders: \Binaries\, \Temp\, and \Diagnosis\.

  4. Reopen Automation Studio, navigate to the top Project menu, and select Clean All.

  5. Run a full Rebuild All before launching SafeDESIGNER again

=================
b) Could you try to delete the safety libraries in your prj and add them again?

Ciao
Valerio

In case the issue is still occurring after doing the attempts suggested by Valerio, we have one instance where this error was solved by doing the following.

  1. Reinstalling SafeDESIGNER 4.4.1.0 by running the “SafeDESIGNER V4.4.exe” as Adminstrator.

  2. Open Automation Studio as an explicit administrator (right-click > Run as Admistrator) and then open the SafeDESIGNER project and Compile.
