Error in Watch Window

Hello,

I am trying to follow a getting started tutorial on mapp motion and what I’m trying to do is test my code to turn on an axis with torque control. However I keep receiving the same error codes. When I look up the second error code it says that there is a problem with my parameters but I don’t know what they are. Is there a quick fix to this or am I better off starting again?

Hi Óran,

for an analysis you need to provide more information. Please check the logger (motion logger) of Automation Studio for more details. You can provide us than more details.

You can also send uns your parametrization, then we can check this.

BR, Samuel

Hi Samuel,

Apologies, I’m quite new to this type of software so I’m not sure exactly what you need. I hope these screenshots will help!

Hello,

Thanks for the Information in Logger (bottom right picture).

Here we can see an Error for a Functionblock Call of “BrTorqueControl”.

The Error Message tells that the currently used Simulation Mode of the Axis is not supported for this Functionblock.
a) You can use real Hardware to Test this Functionblock
b) You can change the used Simulation Mode of the Axis in the Configuration.

Simulation Mode in Axis Configuration
Please make sure you provide Motor Parameters if you use a Mode which requires them.

I do not have time to check if the Functionblock is working with a Different Simulation mode, but i think it will..

Greetings
Michael

Hi Michael,

I tried using another simulation mode but I received another error in the watch window, this time before even turning on the axis. Would this issue be fixed if I used a different axis? Or is there some parameter I might have set wrong?

The error -1067278080 is more a PLCopen general error. It would be helpful if you could show us the errors in the logger. This gives more details.

This the error I’m receiving on the logger

Hello,

-1067384765 [67]: Necessary parameter is missing or is invalid

1750: Motor gearbox: Limitation mode

These are the Pages which the Logger points to…
This time i am not aware what he expects for this ParID as Value.
I think i would need time to program this aswell an make some tests, but currently i am very busy, i hope some one else is faster.

Greetings
Michael

Hello,

maybe one more note here… In AS4 you have to consider that the settingspage is switching here depending on the Simulation Setting. Only on AS6 there are both Settings visible on same time. If you are on a ARSim you neet to set up Simulation Mode for PLC.

Greetings
Michael

Hi Óran,

if there is no confidential contend in your project, you could save it and provide us. Then someone yould check it. Otherwise you contact your local B&R support: https://www.br-automation.com/de-de/ueber-uns/standorte/

Save the project to get it as small as possible:

File → Save project as zip → Then Archive mode and do NOT(!) select the upgrades

Hi Samuel, it’s saying the file is too large. Is there another way?
