File Encoding of MpDataRecorder

Hello
I’m using the Mapp FB MpDataRecorder for recording the position of an circular axis. Therefor the Unit in the file should be degree but if i use the degree symbol the format of the log file changes to ANSI and not UTF-8 as the help explorer says.
Is there a possiblity to use just ANSI encoding?

I had the same issue.

as far I know MpDataRecorder files are allways ANSI. I think, if you use the not extended ASCII character (127 bit codes) ANSI and UTF-8 is the same and notpad++ shows UTF8. But if you use any of extended characters (ö, ü, ä, °, etc.) notpad++ shows ANSI.
