Forum: "Your search term is too short."

I have tried to search for “7z” in the forum, but it does not allow it.

It probably would provide just a limited list of results.
To search even for one character might make sense, for example if it is a not often used letter like the ohm Ω sign or similar characters.

Why is it not allowed to search just for two or even one letters in the forum?

Thanks, that works fine for me with the quotes and it provides a proper result.

The forum software is obviously able to handle such a search, I am wondering why the search form does does not accept it without quotes.
