Legacy LSA motor version encoder system

Hello,

What can be an adequate replacement for legacy LSA motor (eg. 8LSA55.E2045.D200-0)? It seems it has single-turn EnDat encoder of E2 type. I will not replace this motor for the moment, I only need to specify it correctly in AS4.9. For the moment I only want to replace an old 4PP420 with a new PLC and to upgrade application which was written is AS2.4. The second question is if i can expect problems if I use in new configuration 8AC122.60-3 instead of 8AC122.60-2 (resolver 10kHz). Because it seems the 8AC122.60-2 can not be installed in A4.9… Inverters should not be changed as well, now I work with existing 8Vxx ACOPOS-es.

Thanks for help!

In the Toolbox of the new Automation Studio you have to enable the legacy icon to use Legacy parts. In this way you should see the Old interface card.

Its the Icon with the Clock on top of the List.

About the Motor, as it has an electronic name plate you dont have to configure it in Automation Studio to get it to work.
Just let the Motorslot empty. The Acopos will automaticaly read the motor Data. From the Endat Encoder.

I think the Resolver is an different Encoder and not on the Motor?

Michael
