Servo driver hardware configuration Issues

Hello,
I am currently migrating the Automation Studio program from version 3.8 to version 4.1.
CPU: 4PP420 → X20CP1584
The hardware is as shown in the picture below.
Among the hardware, the motor of the ACOPOS 1090 driver uses the model 8LSA55.R0022D300-1, but I couldn’t find it in version 4.1, so I added 8LSA46.R2030D200-3 instead.

  1. Can I use 8LSA46.R2030D200-3 as a replacement for 8LSA55.R0022D300-1?
  2. I have correctly added the hardware, but it seems to be showing that the hardware is incorrect. Is there a solution to this?

Thanks

Hello David,

the upgrade for your motor, for all AS 4.x, can be found here:
V4.0 DT Upgrade (8LSA55.R0022D300-1) | B&R Industrial Automation (br-automation.com)

Using a different motor type for a .R motor (Resolver => no motor data stored on encoder) is a bad idea, because the motor parameters are taken from the configuration in the AS project.
Best case would be that the current controller parametes are wrong (automatically set according to the motor parameters) and it makes horribly screeching noises.
Worst case would be that the motor is damaged or destroyed by a too high current.

The errors in the SDM about the not connected modules are most likely due to a very old AR version.
I tried it on a test system of mine with AS 6.0 and AR 6.0 and it shows all plugged modules green.
