Can we drive an axis in closed loop using an asynchronous motor and encoder using the Mapp technology block (like MpAxisBasic)? If so, what configuration method should we follow?
Yes, with ACP10 based motion, you can use the SDC technology in the PLC/Drive. If you are mapp motion, it can be done, but I’m less knowledgeable on that.
With mapp Motion add a “MotorInduction_any” hardware object from the object catalog
to your drive in the physical view or “System designer”
and fill in the motor parameters.
