mappView terminal option "Ignore certificate error" not available on certain PPC50 variants

Hi everyone,

I’m using mappView with TLS enabled on a Power Panel C50. The server certificate I’m using is self-signed.

In my project I need to maintain two hardware configurations (the only difference is the display size) - a 4PPC50.0702-12B and a 4PPC50.101E-12B.

In the 4PPC50.0702-12B terminal settings I can disable the option “Ignore certificate errors“ and my mappVisu starts without any warnings.

But on the 4PPC50.101E-12B, this option is missing and on every startup, I get a certificate warning on my screen. I can just confirm the dialog and everything works fine, but it’s not convenient of course.

For curiosity, I tried another C50 10” variant (4PPC50.101E-10A) and there the option was available, but on my particual C50 it’s missing. Any idea why?

My setup: AS 4.12, AR O4.93

Hi,

I can see that my HW version on the 4PPC50.101E-12B was 1.1.4.0 for some reason while the version of the 4PPC50.0702-12B was 1.1.8.0. I’ve updated all version to the latest V1.2.2.0 and now everything is there and it works :slight_smile:
