I just started a PC3100 with a panel and an SLD4 interface. The PC start normally with windows, I can use a mouse and a keyboard connected on the screen… But the Touch don’t work … I touch the screen with my finger but nothing …
In the menu of windows, under the B&R Automation, I don’t have the program “Touch screen settings”… But on an older PC3100 I had few month ago I had this program …
Have you an idea how I can install the touch screen function ?
I had a similar issue with the touch intermittently working. The suggested fix was to update the panel to the newest firmware but that didn’t seem to fix it. However assigning the USB ports on the SDL4 interface on the panel to the GPOS fixed the issue for me.
The Information regarding COM Port you will find in APC3100 User Manuel ( MAAPC3100-ENG_V2.16.pdf (br-automation.com)) at Page 151. COM A is the SDL onboard touch screen Port- so this Port has to be enabled in BIOS (Setup Utility → Advanced → OEM Features → Super IO → COM A).
If you are Using SDL4 Transmitter it should be COM E according to Informations at Page 51 and 152.
