PLC HW Upgrade : the "adaptations" ~> only for the specified version ; or specified version + versions below

Hello,

In the upgrade HW category, I wish to know if the adaptations made for
the PLC are viable with an older version of AS (Automation Studio).

With this link for exemple : https://www.br-automation.com/en/downloads/software/automation-studio/hw-upgrades/v40-hw-upgrade-x20cdo9322/

Does this mean that I can use the upgrade for AS 4.9 ?
Or is the upgrade only for AS 4.11 ?

Hi there,

The name “V4.0 HW Upgrade (X20cDO9322)” means it’s AS >= 4.0, so all 4.x versions use that upgrade. The adaptions for AS 4.11 of course don’t have any effect on your 4.9 installation.
