great thanks, but in AS4.12 there’s no option to select ARwin
yep. It looks like the support of ArWin was stopped since it is an obsolete product (as well as PP500)
but in AS 4.1.x which can be used without a license (after installing the last service pack 4.1.17)

Is the original system delivered with a windows version?
If you give in a serial number on our website, information about original delivery can be checked.
Windows is a licensed software and there is no download for the PP500 on the B&R website.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with Corne here, it is not possible for the community to provide you with a Windows System on a legal base.
Please contact your local B&R office if a Windows Standard 7 image (with CF) can be still ordered and delievered for this device.
But if this is just a testing application or a hobby project think about using a valid Windows desktop license or a Linux.
great thanks for the feedback we have managed to get windows working but is there a specific touch driver for pp500 and next will be to get ARwin installed
