Hi everyone,
a customer received a new Inverter. However the following appears:
Does anybody had a similar experience? The people at the machine said that they already adjusted the hex number to the right one. What can we do ?
Thanks in advance

Hi @ReneGalindo, welcome to the B&R Community! As Valerio asked, please confirm the exact model number of the the new ACOPOSmulti SafeMOTION drive that was replaced.
If the new drive has the same model number as the old one (8BVI0330HWSS.000**-1**), then I would double-check the node number that is configured in the project compared to what is set on the ACOPOSmulti.
If the new drive is a 8BVI0330HWSS.000**-4**, then you need to take a few things into account:
Please find additional information about replacing an ACOPOSmulti SafeMOTION -1 with a -4 in this Community post: Upgrading from 8BVIxxx-1 and 8BVIxxx-3 SafeMOTION ACOPOSmulti modules to 8BVIxxx-4 modules
Hi @ReneGalindo ,
please keep in mind that the NodeNumber switch will be read only once when the drive is powered on.
If the drive was powered on first and then they changed the node number (and maybe also rebooted the PLC), the drive has still the old/first node number. So when the Nodenumber is changed, the drive needs to be powered off for some seconds and powered on again.
Hi @ReneGalindo ,
Regarding SystemDump,
Could you try to rename the extension tar.gz to targz or zip?
If you have exactly the same model there are some issues during installation and I recommend to do what Samuel wrote in his comment.

The people at the machine said that they already adjusted the hex number to the right one.
Maybe I’m a little skeptical…hehe
Could you ask a picture to your customer so you can verify that the node number is configured in correct way?

I would like to share one feedback from a customer where He replaced the motor connected to Safe drive and Safe Designer didn’t recognize the new motor:
