Hi,
We are using the AS4.12.6.102 and we have to replace the ’ 8BVI0110HWSS.000-1’ to ‘8BVI0110HWSS.000-4’ due t the obsolescence

I have downloaded the exe and upgraded in the AS using the tools->upgrades->local and selected the ‘AS4_HW_8BVI0110HWSS.000-4.exe’.
from V4.6 HW Upgrade (8BVI0110HWSS.000-4) 2.3.0.1 (03/04/2024)

Replaced the module in the physical view configuration and rebuilt the project and run it on the target. I am getting the below error when i checked it in the logger.

Any help appreciated to fix this issue.

Hello,

What is the PLC Address of the 8BVI0110HWSS.000-1 module? The logger item that you are referring to points to SS3.IF1.

The 8BVI0110HWSS.000-4 needs mapp Safety 5.24.0 or later; see B&R website.

Yes the module is at SS3.IF1.ST4

Hello,

According to the screenshot, you are using Safety Release 1.7, a.k.a. Safety Legacy.

Based on the technical data already shared from the B&R website, you have to upgrade to at least mapp Safety 5.24.0.
