Product Licensing Failed

Hi, I have downloaded ver 4.12, 4.11, and 6. installed separately.
installed successfully, but when I input the evaluation license, I faced the message below for all version.
How can I handle it?

it says that the license has been used, maybe you have installed it on another PC, because 1 license is only for 1 device

Thanks for replying quickly.
I have created another License and same result again.
Before that, I have deleted the license in CodeMeter folder.
How can I activate license?

Hi, as far as I can tell this is a problem of the license server. I will keep you posted if I get any information about it.

@arijaluddin
It should not be because of the activation count, since that has an explicit error telling you the license has already been activated too often.

@Hiroshi0606
I had the same issue just now.
VMWare, Windows 10, AS4.12

I could solve this by deleting my cm container by executing the following steps:

  1. Get the serial number of your container from cm. (open in system tray). Mine was something like 32767-347…
  2. Open terminal as admin
  3. Type the following commands:
    cd “C:\Program Files\CodeMeter\Runtime\bin”
    CmWebAdmin.exe –delete-cmact-license --serial 32767-347…

Thanks @eun.im for posting here!

Hope this helps! Best regards!

I just checked and for me it was working to activate an evaluation license. So if there was a problem with the license server it seems to be resolved.

Just got information that there was indeed a server issue which is at the moment resolved partly. Which means it can happen again in the next days. B&R IT is working to resolve the issue completely.

Thank you. I hope it solves soon.

The issue with the licensing server is resolved now. Please retry licensing Automation Studio and let us know the result.
