It sounds like the worksheet may be corrupted somehow.
Is your safety project checked into version control? One idea I have is to check out some of the suggestions for gitignore settings on this thread: .gitignore file for AS projects - Share Info & Ideas - B&R Community. There are some files which must be checked in for safety projects to function correctly between users.
