Touchlock driver cannot start on M0 revision 5AP1130.185C‑000

What’s happening

On‑site setup: APC910 controller connected to two 5AP1130.185C‑000 touch panels via SDL4. Dual‑screen interlock function is required.

Touchlock driver installs and works normally on all previous projects. However on this project, one panel fails to start the touchlock driver after installation.

The panel itself has fully functional touch, all other drivers install without issues, only touchlock fails.

The serial number of the problematic M0 panel and the HMI report are both attached.

What you’ve tested

  • Replaced all related hardware: backpack modules, SDL4 cables, no improvement
  • Verified that touch and other drivers work fine on this M0 unit
  • Swapped in an L0‑revision panel: touchlock driver installs and starts correctly
  • Put back the original M0 panel: touchlock driver fails again
  • The second panel on the same system is K0 revision and works perfectly with touchlock

Software / Hardware type and version

  • Controller: APC910
  • Panels: 2 × 5AP1130.185C‑000 (one M0 revision (faulty), one K0 revision (working); L0 unit used for verification)
  • Connection: SDL4
  • Function requirement: dual‑screen touch interlock

Has anyone met this compatibility issue between M0 hardware revision and touchlock driver? Any troubleshooting advice is welcome. Thank you.

From the revision information it can be seen that the M0 revision has changed to a different touch screen system.

Revision M0 - 03/26/2026

Cause:
New touch screen system.

Measures taken:
Changeover to a compatible, higher-performance system.

Effect:
Better usability (gloves, touch screen stylus pens).

Most likely there is some kind of a incompatibility with the Touch Lock driver.

You could try with the most recent version of Touch Lock and if that does not work please report this through the official support channel for your country.

Thanks !

I have tried every publicly‑available TouchLock driver from the B&R official website, including the most recent release.

All of these driver packages were published prior to the M0 screen revision dated 03/26/2026. Unfortunately none of them can take effect on this M0‑revision touch panel.

Could you please advise whether there is a new TouchLock driver built specifically for Revision M0 hardware?

If a dedicated driver is not yet publicly released, are there any feasible workarounds to fix the compatibility problem using existing older drivers?

Unfortunately I don’t have additional information at this point.

To continue solving this, please ask this question trough the official support channel of your country.

Fine ,I will try more to solve this

Thanks for your help
