Hello,

acp10sys does not contain an operating system for this ACOPOS hardware type
Hello Adham Safad,
Regarding your question, it seems that the version of ACP10 you have in your project may be relatively old and does not contain the operative system for the device that you have connected in your network.
Change the version of ACP10 in your project to a newer version
Also, this thread was already considered as solved, for a further doubts, please consider openning a new post.
Best regards
@wenbo.ruan Newer versions do not support CAN bus, so that is unfortunately not possible.
@adhamalsafadi87
āAcp10manā and āAcp10sysā in your project are the POWERLINK variants, not CAN variants (I can tell from the file sizes).
Try to delete them in the software list and pull āAcp10manā from the āLogical Viewā to the software list.
The correct sizes are:
The correct file variants are installed here:

Thank you @Martin.Schrott, didnāt pay attention to the posts above, you are absolutely right. My apologies for the mistake.
Best regards
@wenbo.ruan Thank you, I had other issues with the same topic which is why I kept posting here I will open a new post
@Martin.Schrott I really appreciate your help, with my current configuration and with the current version of the library I was able to connect the servo drive 8v1010.50-2 and open the NC test to do all movement tests and everything works well and the connection was good control the servo motor but when connected to 8v1045.00-1 or 8v1090.00-1 this error appeared
acp10sys does not contain an operating system for this ACOPOS hardware type
Is the operating system different and do we still have to change the library or do I Have another issue?
I can access this path for the file variants you sent normally but from AS I can only see like attached photo
Thank you
I misremenbered the SW version range necessary for drives 8v10xx.00-1, it is < 1.000.
Sorry for that.
The newest version is 0.556, but all these versions are subject to the dual-use export restrictions per Regulation (EC) No. 2021/821 of the European Community and are therefore not available on the homepage and cannot be sent without explicit permission of a superior.
SW version of PLC you mean?
so what is the solution to access 8v10xx.00-1
Then below is the attachment from Revision Information, Does that mean this err solved since ACP10 v2.42 and I am using ACP10 v2.52.7
Thank you
I was referring to the ACOPOS software, Acp10_V0.55.6, which is the latest that supports 8V10xx.00-1 drives.
Please contact your Local B&R Partner for requesting software that is subject to the dual-use export restrictions.
(This software version can only be installed in AS2.6 - <AS V3.0.0, not in AS4.12)
Thank you so much for all your assistance.
As you mentioned, the library has been tested with version 8v1090.00-2 and works well, but not with version 8v1090.00-1. Iāll contact the local B&R office to inquire about obtaining library version v055.6.
On another note, Iām curious if thereās a way to upgrade the firmware version of 8v1090.00-1 to match 8v1090.00-2, similar to the process for many other devices.
There is no possibility to change an 8Vxxxx.00-1 to an 8Vxxxx.00-2. There are both hardware and software changes between the model numbers.
For example, the 8V1090.00-1 has a 12-pin front connector, and a single enable circuit. The 8V1090.00-2 has an 18-pin front connector with dual enable circuits.
I understand. Since the library version compatible with 8v1090.00-1 isnāt available on the website, Iām wondering if thereās a way to upgrade the firmware to make 8v1090.00-1 compatible with the new version of the motion library Iām using. It doesnāt necessarily have to be identical to 8v1090.00-2.
Thank you very much
There is no upgrade to use an 8V1090.00-1 with an ACP10 version 1.00 or greater, just as there is no possibility to use an 8V1090.00-2 with an ACP10 version less than 1.00. To put this in perspective, the -2 drives took over the -1 drives circa 2002-2004 (20+ years ago). The -1 drives are very old and are only supported by legacy software versions.
Very old versions are periodically removed from the website to keep the site from being bogged down with thousands of legacy downloads. As you have been pointed to by others, reaching out to your local B&R office is the best way to obtain these legacy downloads. The contact for technical support for Canadian customers is below.
