Good morning,
I need to make a communication TCP between two B&R PLC.
For this, I use a Powerlink card X20IF1082-2 in operating mode “Ethernet” in both CPU.

One PLC is a client, the other one is a server.

For now, the communication between both X20IF1082-2 is not working.
I used IcmpPing library to test the communication, and the status is 65535.

Someone have any idea ? Any configuration on the X20IF1082-2 card or the CPU ?

Hi Kaourant,

I’ve never tried this using only the IF modules (as opposed to the built-in Ethernet ports) but I think it should be possible.

Can you ping either interface from a different device (i.e. your laptop)? What if you tried connecting the native Ethernet ports together? Does your ping function work in that case?
